## Hurghada The busiest base, with the most day trips and the easiest access to Luxor. ## Sharm El Sheikh Close to Ras Mohammed and Mount Sinai, with a lively promenade at Naama Bay. ## Marsa Alam Quieter and further south, with fewer boats on the reefs. Best if snorkeling is the main reason for your trip.
